Mahima Datla has been with Biological E. Limited since 2001 and is currently its Managing Director. During this period, she has been involved in project management, building quality systems and driving operations at the company. She engages with the Government of India and GAVI on public policy. Mahima has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Management from Webster University, London.
Narender Dev Mantena
Joint Managing Director
Narender Mantena has been associated with Biological E. Limited since 1992. He has been responsible for forging key alliances with GSK, Merck and Intercell. He laid the road map for the company’s foray into the regulated markets. He also championed the complex/routine injectables, novel vaccines and synthetic biology initiatives at Biological E. Limited. Narender Mantena holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Michigan State University.
Lakshminarayana Neti

Lakshminarayana Neti joined Biological E. Limited in 2013 as President, Operations, Vaccines. He has over 30 years of diverse experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He has worked with the leading pharmaceutical companies such as Abbott, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited and others. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA in Finance from Manchester Business School & a Postgraduate Diploma in Patent Law.
Dr. Vishvesh Kumar Bhupathiraju

Dr. Vishvesh has joined us with over 30 years of global work experience in leading biopharmaceutical companies and academic institutions in the areas of Commercial Manufacturing, Pilot Scale Manufacturing, Projects, Program Management, SCM, QA, QC, RA and others.
Prior to joining us, he was associated with Stelis Biopharma in Bengaluru as their Chief Operating Officer. Earlier, he worked with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories at their Biologics Division in Hyderabad, and Bayer Healthcare in the US. He also had a stint in academic and research institutions in the US.
Dr. Vishvesh holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Genetics from Osmania University, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees along with a Ph.D in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma, USA. He also has a Post Doctorate in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, USA.
Sunder Ramachandran

Sunder Ramachandran joined Biological E. Limited in December 2025 as Sr. Vice President and Chief People & Transformation Officer and as Head of Corporate Communications.Sunder possesses over 22 years of extensive leadership experience across prominent pharmaceutical organisations, including Dr. Reddy’s and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
Sunder is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, UK. He holds an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Australia, and an MSc in Human Resource Management from the University of Leicester, UK.
Ripan Puri

Ripan Puri joined BE Life Sciences Private Limited as Chief Executive Officer in April 2026. He brings over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive expertise in P&L leadership, business transformation, and building high‑performing commercial teams.
Prior to joining BE Life Sciences, Puri served as Business Director – Pharmaceuticals (Country Manager) at Himalaya Wellness, where he led the India and Nepal businesses, driving strong growth in sales and profitability. His career also includes leadership roles at Boehringer Ingelheim, Abbott, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Novartis, and MSD Pharmaceuticals.
Puri holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Rajasthan and a Master’s degree in Management from the Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad.

Dr. Philip R. Dormitzer joins us with over 26 years of experience spanning academia and industry leadership. A globally recognised leader in vaccines and biologics, he brings extensive expertise gained through senior leadership roles at Pfizer, GSK, and Novartis. Dr. Dormitzer holds both an M.D. and Ph.D. from Stanford University and has served on the faculty at Harvard Medical School. He has played a vital role in the development of landmark vaccines, including Pfizer‑BioNTech’s COVID‑19 vaccine and leading Respiratory Syncytial Virus vaccines.
He now leads Biological E. Limited’s scientific strategy to advance innovation and global impact.
Ravi Hudda

Ravi Hudda is a digital transformation leader with over 20 years of experience in enterprise technology, digital strategy, cybersecurity, automation, and technology-enabled business transformation. Prior to joining Biological E. Limited, he served as Group Chief Digital & Information Officer at Raymond Limited, driving digital transformation, technology innovation, and enterprise-wide digital capabilities.
An alumnus of Harvard Business School, Ravi brings extensive expertise in leveraging emerging technologies to create business value and build future-ready digital ecosystems. At Biological E., he leads the digital and information agenda, strengthening technology, cybersecurity, automation, AI & ML, and enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

Mr. Manishkumar Munot joins Biological E. Limited with over 30 years of global leadership experience across vaccines, pharmaceuticals, specialty products, commercial strategy, and general management. He brings extensive expertise gained through senior leadership roles at GSK, Novartis Vaccines, Abbott, Panacea Biotec, and Novo Nordisk, with a proven track record of driving commercial growth across India, Asia, Europe, and the United States. An Executive MBA from IIM Calcutta and a Leadership & Management Certificate holder from The Wharton School, Mr. Munot now leads Biological E. Limited's Vaccines commercial business, driving strategic growth across India and global markets including Europe and the United States.

A seasoned leader in RNA technologies and business transformation, he brings extensive expertise gained through leadership roles at CureVac, where he led advanced RNA manufacturing capabilities and the Personalized Cancer Vaccines Program. With a strong track record of translating scientific innovation into commercial success, Dr. Bergmann now leads Biological E. Limited's RNA Business, driving the strategic growth and development of its RNA Medicines portfolio and advancing the company's capabilities in next-generation therapeutics.

A seasoned commercial leader, he brings extensive expertise in biologics, CDMO business development, strategic partnerships, global market expansion, and revenue growth, gained through leadership roles at Mabion S.A., Pharmaron Biologics, August Bioservices, Labcorp Drug Development, Covance, Therapure Biopharma, and Hospira. Most recently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Mabion S.A., Marty now leads BE Biosol's business growth strategy, driving global partnerships, expanding market presence, and accelerating commercial opportunities across its biologics and CDMO business.
