During this period, she has been involved in project management, building quality systems and driving operations at the company. She engages with the Government of India and GAVI on public policy. Mahima has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Management from Webster University, London.
Narender Dev Mantena
Head, Global Strategy & CEO, Specialty Generic Injectables & Synthetic Biology
Narender Mantena has been associated with Biological E. Limited since 1992. He has been responsible for forging key alliances with GSK, Merck and Intercell. He laid the road map for the company’s foray into the regulated markets. He also championed the complex/routine injectables, novel vaccines and synthetic biology initiatives at Biological E. Limited. Narender Mantena holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Michigan State University.
Lakshminarayana Neti
COO, Vaccines & Branded Formulations
Lakshminarayana Neti joined Biological E. Limited in 2013 as President, Operations, Vaccines. He has over 30 years of diverse experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He has worked with the leading pharmaceutical companies such as Abbott, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited and others. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA in Finance from Manchester Business School & a Postgraduate Diploma in Patent Law.
Dr. Vishvesh Kumar Bhupathiraju
COO, Pharma Specialty Generic Injectables
Dr. Vishvesh has joined us with over 30 years of global work experience in leading biopharmaceutical companies and academic institutions in the areas of Commercial Manufacturing, Pilot Scale Manufacturing, Projects, Program Management, SCM, QA, QC, RA and others.
Prior to joining us, he was associated with Stelis Biopharma in Bengaluru as their Chief Operating Officer. Earlier, he worked with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories at their Biologics Division in Hyderabad, and Bayer Healthcare in the US. He also had a stint in academic and research institutions in the US.
Dr. Vishvesh holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Genetics from Osmania University, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees along with a Ph.D in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma, USA. He also has a Post Doctorate in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, USA.
Sudhakar Vadapalli

Mr. Sudhakar Vadapalli joined Biological E. Limited in 2013 as Sr. Vice President, Corporate Affairs & IT. He has over 30 years of enriched industry experience that includes more than 20 years of senior leadership roles spanning areas like product development, operations, human resources, project management, infrastructure management and administration in reputed companies including Accenture, Sun Microsystems etc. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Business Administration from XLRI.
Venkatesh R

Venkatesh R joined Biological E. Limited as Chief Financial Officer in 2020. He is a seasoned finance & management professional with over 22 years of experience across various industries spanning Logistics, Life Sciences, Information Technology, Retail, Telecom and Infrastructure. He has held leadership positions overseeing business strategy, M&As, management of global finance & accounts, debt and equity funding, IPO and strategic investor relationship in reputed organisations such as GVK Biosciences, Hutch, IL&FS. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and a Company Secretary.
Ms. Lavanya Maligonda

Ms. Lavanya joined us with over 21 years of experience in the field of Human Resources with a successful record of accomplishments in Capability Building, Manpower Planning, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Union Management and other HR-related areas in Healthcare, Agriculture, Telecom and other industries.
Before joining us, Ms. Lavanya was associated with KIMS Group of Hospitals in Hyderabad as their CHRO. Prior to that, she worked at Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd, DCM Shriram and Reliance Industries.
Ms. Lavanya holds a Bachelor of Law, Master of Psychology and EDPHRM from XLRI, Jamshedpur. In addition, she also holds a PG Diploma in Business Analytics & Business Intelligence from Great Lakes Institute of Management.
